Loganberry Lane at Kasch Park
Seattle AreaBest Mar–Jun, Sep–Nov
A short interpretive loop through wetlands and second-growth forest in a south Everett neighborhood park.
About This Trail
Loganberry Lane is a short trail network inside Kasch Park, a city park tucked into a residential block of south Everett. Less than a mile of pathway threads through a small pocket of preserved wetland and second-growth forest, with a hundred-foot boardwalk crossing the boggiest section. Ten numbered signposts mark interpretive stops along the way.
The walk is short, flat, and accessible. The trees are not old, but the wetland holds skunk cabbage in spring and a steady chorus of pacific chorus frogs through the wet season. An off-leash dog park sits beside the trailhead; the trails themselves require leashes.
This is a neighborhood-scale trail, opened in 2025 after community work replaced unstable pallet bridges with permanent boardwalk. It will not satisfy anyone after a hike. It works as a stretch break for nearby residents, an introduction for very young walkers, or a stop on a multi-park outing.
