I had passed the sign for Jackson Creek Fish Camp many times en route from the Tri-Cities to Seattle, but hadn't stopped before. It is apparently popular for fishermen in the fall, although there is no boat ramp.

A friend and I made plans to escape town for late fall adventure in Central Washington: a day hike on the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail over the still-somewhat-new Beverly Bridge, followed by a night of car camping. This was my first visit to Beverly Bridge since it opened in April of 2022.
