Douglas creek is a great dog friendly hike if you’re looking for a hidden water hole to get you out of the sun and into several cold blue pools !

Had a little problem finding the trailhead, but turning off Palisades Road onto Wagon Road, then an immediate left on Slack Canyon Road leads to the trailhead. I read trip reports about road water crossings, and I came to the first well before mile one.
