We started our stroll by checking out the springs themselves. The path was fairly marshy, and the streams had a few little pieces of wood over them, which provided just barely enough protection.

Small wildflowers are just beginning to blossom along the trail, along with plenty of new grass. An eagle was doing circles over the field, but we didn't see the nest.
