Beautiful trail that goes through a cedar grove as you go up a ridge, and then it opens up a bit as you go into the canyon with Emerald Lake. The lake doesn't have much water, but I could see how the lake would be green.

There was a little snow still left on the road, but it was passable in any vehicle. The only snow remaining on the trail was on the bridge close to the trailhead, but there were 10 or 15 blowdowns that had to be climbed over in the 2.

Trail slide has been fully repaired. This route is not only passable but the tread is in excellent condition.
