I needed to take my car in for an oil change, and realized the Appleway Trail was so close to the service center that it would be the perfect way to wait for my car to be done without needing to hang out in the waiting area with lots of other people. I had to do a short distance on the sidewalk to get to the beginning of the trail at the Appleway/University intersection, and then I hiked eastbound for about 45 minutes before turning back to get my car.
