I was in Plain with my son today and we decided to do a quick day hike to whistling pig meadows. Road to TH is quite rough, very rocky, narrow and steep.

It was our full intent to walk in about 3. 2 miles to the first camp area and be there overnight, since in order to get to Whistling Pig, you have to ford a river.
