About This Trail

Osprey Park sits on the edge of Sultan along the Sultan River, offering about two miles of flat pathways through mixed forest. The trails wind between large trees with two good river access points where kids can wade and explore. A playground anchors one end of the trail system, making it easy to pair a short walk with play time.

The river section is the highlight. Cottonwoods and conifers shade the path as it follows the Sultan River upstream, with logs to scramble across and gravel bars to poke around on. Fall visitors can watch salmon running in the shallows. The trail stays flat and wide throughout, suitable for strollers and young hikers finding their legs.

Parking is free angle-in street parking along 1st Street, with plenty of spaces even on weekends. No pass required. The park sees light traffic year-round, though you may share the path with dog walkers and joggers from the neighborhood.
