We lost reception on the way to the trailhead and google maps wanted us to stop at 25 Mile Creek State Park. Fortunately I kind of remembered how to get there after hiking there many years ago.

Wanted a hike close to our vacation spot on Lake Chelan so came here. It was already hot (90) when we started out at about 9:30am and got a bit hotter as the day went on.

The trailhead is not at the state park but up shady pass road about 3 miles. A short walk past the trailhead sign on the road brings you to the trail on the left side.
