Mastiff and Howard CCW from Merritt lake trail: Stayed at class II on the S ridge of Mastiff but might get sketchier as condition change. Off trail travel requires some bush whacking, mostly the west side of Mastiff 11/9/24 boot pack goes toward Merritt Lake, snow starts at 5300'.

Completed a loop to Mount Mastiff and Mount Howard. We logged 12.

Here's a quick trip report from my peakbagging trip on 7/3 - 7/4 in the Nason Ridge area, east of Stevens Pass. The road up to Merritt Lake Trailhead is quite rough and there was one hill climb where I was glad to have AWD.
