Who doesn't love a good suffer fest? Tackled Easter Peak with Kidz Won't Hike today and it had everything you don't want in a hike: no trail, extreme bushwhacking, millions of blowdowns, cliffs, steep steep forest that goes on forever, steep steep unsupportive snow that goes even longer, lots of uneven terrain for snowshoeing!
Super tough trip with Glen99’s up to Easter Peak. The Miller River Road is in great shape up where we parked at the decommissioned West Fork Miller River Road.
Snow conditions here were just as bad, if not worse than, how it was on the way to Noble Knob just two days before. A party of two pulled up to the West Fork Miller River Road gate parking area just as the pups and I were getting ready.
