Recalled seeing pear trees years ago in the woods near a picnic shelter at Harvey Manning Trailhead Radar Park. So took this opportunity to do a quick afternoon run and see if pear blossoms could be crossed off the list before heading out of town.

3/23/26 • Klondike Swamp Loop Parking: The parking lot was empty when we’re arrived mid morning Monday. Trail Traffic: The trail was very quiet maybe saw a few people the entire time.

My hiking group switched gears from a planned monthly hike at Skookum Flats (due to a less than spectacular weather forecast) and got pleasantly surprised with a dry hike on Cougar Mtn. today.
