40+ miles per my GPS in 3 days. My Dad has wanted to do this exploring route for a few years and after 30 years teaching as an electrical engineering professor, he finally retired, and had time to do this adventure!

I decided to go Baldy Mountain. Took me by 2 hours and 10 minutes to get to trail head.

The trailhead was a bit difficult to find (across the road and north from the big pines campground). The trail was a bit soggy in spots from melting snow and there were some areas closer to the peak that had fairly deep snow.
